A cheatcode for Proxmox: Community Scripts

A cheatcode for Proxmox: Community Scripts

There is a good chance that if you use Proxmox, you've heard of the fantastic collection of community scripts that are available to make your life easier when it comes to administering your node(s).

If not, then scoot over to https://community-scripts.org and feast on the scripts available there..

They cover everything from full featured and ready to go LXC's (containers), to administering the node itself - i.e. updating CPU microcode.

The scripts were originally made by tteck, who sadly passed away. Now, the scripts and site are managed by volunteers, and it is a wonderful thing for the homelab community.

My favourites are:

PVE Post install

PVE Processor Microcode (update)

PVE CPU scaling governor

PVE LXC Updater

I use them regularly, and recommend them highly if you're running a proxmox node in your home lab.
